Should I Give Up Writing This Event?

I must be honest here for a moment, I truly am having a difficult time coming up with ideas on the fly for my Written, Twitter Experiment. I don't know what it is? I like where it is going, but it is very difficult, even for me to understand sometimes, the flow of my story that is. If I am having a hard time, I am sure you are as well. So with that being said, I am going to be posting a couple times a week instead of every day, I didn't say it was going to be daily in the first place, just that it was going to be a 140 posts for the story.

It will allow me to have better ideas, and a better understanding where I want my story to go. I have posted 10 entries so far, and it is a god start in my eyes for where I want it to go, although, it seems like most of the posts are meant to come later in the story rather than the beginning, Twitter is a cruel mistress when it comes to storytelling, so I am going to recalculate what needs to be done, and go from there.

Also, I have a friend who is a very darn good artist. I have always wanted to become a comic book writer, and the visuals in my head are perfect for the comic book format as well. I hope to see that come into fruition soon.

Thank you again Sleepyheads, for following me into this journey, and I am not giving up, I just need more time to think about story and character, and maybe, just maybe, you will enjoy it more.

Weredebeests, Vampires and a Dystopian setting, Oh My!

Just Say No To Twilight
This is not going to be a clone of the beloved novels written by Stephanie Meyer. What it will be is a story that has been told, time and time again, between two warring factions set in a dark, moody world. Of course it isn't going to be original in that sense, because these are the pieces of the story that have been handed to me by my friends. The only difference in the story, is how it's being told, and shared.

Just so you know what I mean, I would like to introduce you to a few of my Characters, who I wont be giving a super extensive look at, I'm just going to give you enough that you know who is who.

  • Twins, Nessa and Rob Cisero: Calculated and Smart
  • Jules Montgomery: Wild, yet Calm when he needs to be.
  • Sorrel Abernathy: A Leader!
  • Annie Price: A Scared Little Girl
These are a few of the Characters you will meet, and I am sure in the next 139 days, of story, there will be more.

Twitter - An Empty Canvas For Creativity

Twitter - An Empty Canvas

I am not quite sure it has been done before, but I have come up with an idea that should be fun, and that will allow me to flex my brain a bit.

Twitter only allows 140 characters per post, not much of a story can be written with that kind of limit, but if you allow yourself, one post per day, and 140 days to do it in, can it be done, and can it be read, like a good novel should be read? I am going to find out.

With the help of some friends of mine on Facebook, I will be writing a short story that will utilize three different genres of fiction as suggested by my friends. What ever those genres end up being, I will be posting one post per day, in order to come up with a cohesive story.

This should be a fun little experiment, that will hopefully work out, and one that you will all enjoy, whatever the story may be.
